We have official started "school," using the Letter of the Week curriculum. We spend a week learning about things that start with the letter of the alphabet. We work on identifying the upper and lowercase by playing games, art projects, reading stories, and pointing out the letters when we are out and about. Olive even enjoys this and will point to a letter and start humming the alphabet song-so cute! We are also incorporating Chinese, ASL and a little Spanish. For instance, we play the "Hello Game," introducing ourselves to each other in English and Mandarin. When we are reviewing our colors or counting we also count in Spanish and Chinese. And the biggest treat for both is our weekly visit to the library, where they get to pick their own books out for the week.
